Statement on Disabled Sports from Alpaslan Erkoç at TBESF Award Ceremony

Bringing together prominent figures of Turkish sports, the 10th Giants of Sports Meet Award Ceremony was held at the Presidential Külliye Nation's Library Conference Hall.

At this meaningful gathering, national athletes representing Türkiye in European and World championships came together.

Past Difficulties and Obstacles

Making statements at the ceremony, Türkiye Bedensel Engelliler Spor Federasyonu President Alpaslan Erkoç voiced the great difficulties experienced by disabled individuals in the past.

Erkoç stated that in past years, disabled individuals were kept locked in their homes or exposed to unfair accusations when they went outside.
