Suspicious Lens in the Shower Area
Female member H.C., who was using the shower area of the gym in Karşıyaka, noticed that there was a suspicious camera lens inside. Shocked by the situation, H.C. recorded it with her mobile phone and went to the police department with the footage to file a complaint. Following the notification, an examination regarding the device in question was launched.
Statements of the Business Owner
The gym manager, Rüya D.A., stated that she was not present at the facility during the incident and was informed by the employees calling her. After the female customer left, the business officials notified the police. It was claimed that no findings were encountered in the changing and shower area during the initial inspection.
Lens Detection During Detailed Inspection
The business owner applied to the police station and requested that the footage taken by the customer be examined. The officials, who went back to the facility together with the police teams, stated that a lens was noticed during the detailed check. It is not yet known when the device was placed in the facility.
Rival Company Claim
Business owner Rüya D.A. claimed that the incident could be an attempt targeting the facility. She expressed that they suspect a rival company which she claimed had previously made negative posts about them on social media. This claim has not yet been verified within the scope of the investigation.
