The Sultan of the Net's European Championship Reward Clarified
The amount of the award to be given per person to the A National Women's Volleyball Team players who became European champions has been announced, in accordance with the regulations.
It has been reported that the Sultans of the Net, who reached the championship at the 2026 CEV European Championship, will be awarded within the scope of the ministry regulation.
Final Match and Championship
In the 2026 CEV European Championship final played at the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall, the Sultans of the Net and Italy faced each other. Our national team defeated their opponent 3-2 to win the gold medal and achieved the championship for the second consecutive time.
Reward Per Athlete
In accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, since the tournament is held biennially, 75 percent of the award is transferred to the athletes. Within this scope, the Sultans of the Net will be given 112.5 Republic gold coins per athlete.
Head Coach and Federation Status
National Team Head Coach Daniel Santarelli will win 30 Republic gold coins in accordance with the regulations. On the other hand, the Turkish Volleyball Federation is also expected to distribute additional bonuses to the team.
