Turkish Football Federation Statement on MHK Investigation
Following the judicial investigation and detention operations targeting the MHK management, the Turkish Football Federation published an official notification.
The Turkish Football Federation issued a written statement regarding the investigation that resulted in the detention of Central Arbitration Board President Ferhat Gündoğdu and some board members.
Documents Handed Over to Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office
The Turkish Football Federation announced that the in-house documents requested by the judicial authorities were delivered to the authorized bodies in a sealed envelope.
It was stated that the transmitted documents were delivered to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to undergo fingerprint and DNA residue examination at the Forensic Medicine Institution.
Scope of the Investigation and Detentions
In the judicial process conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, allegations of forgery of documents and mobbing became the focal point of the search for evidence.
In line with these allegations, Central Arbitration Board President Ferhat Gündoğdu and some board members were detained as suspects.
Emphasis on Clean Football and Ministry Coordination
The TFF Board of Directors emphasized that it took office with the will of the delegates and operates in line with the principles of clean football and fair play.
It was stated that allegations of betting and illegal betting are being pursued resolutely, and full coordination has been established with the Ministries of Justice, Interior, and Youth and Sports.
Past Criminal Complaints and Public Warning
The federation reminded that it has filed multiple criminal complaints with the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office at various times since April 2025.
Stating that they are committed to the supremacy of law, officials asked the public to rely only on statements to be made by official authorities.
