Turkish Football Federation's Extraordinary Meeting and Election Possibility

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has decided to hold an extraordinary meeting in line with recent critical developments and the agenda of the Union of Clubs Foundation. At the meeting to be held on Tuesday, October 6, the possibilities of the management resigning or making a decision for an elective general assembly will be discussed.

Following consecutive important developments in Turkish football, the Turkish Football Federation decided to organize an extraordinary meeting. The TFF Management will come together to address the intense agenda on Tuesday, October 6, right after the match to be played against Italy.

Union of Clubs and PFDK Process

The Union of Clubs Foundation is also expected to hold a meeting soon. It is stated that the situation of executives referred to the Professional Football Disciplinary Committee (PFDK) particularly due to betting will be discussed at this meeting.

It is expressed that the talks to be held and stances to be taken in the Union of Clubs will directly affect the agenda of the TFF Management in the extraordinary meeting.

Possibility of Elective General Assembly

It is voiced that the resignation of the TFF Management might come to the agenda at the meeting or that it could take an extraordinary elective general assembly decision.

It is stated that if İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu and his management, whose term of office would normally expire on June 22, 2027, step down at an earlier date, the newly elected management will serve until the end of the season and another election will need to be organized during this period.
