Management Approach and Vision
Uğur Meleke stated that if he comes to office, he will put an end to mafia-like jargon, eradicate suit-wearing hooliganism, and prioritize merit. Emphasizing that he will exhibit a science-oriented administration, the candidate criticized the current budget and structure.
Delegation System Reform
Arguing that the current delegation system must definitely change, Uğur Meleke stated that former national football players, coaches, and referees should also be made delegates. With this step, it is aimed to ensure the representation of football stakeholders.
Referee and VAR Regulations
Within the scope of the announced ten-point manifesto, it is foreseen to abolish the current Central Referee Board model and replace it with an international foreign referee instructor. In addition, it is planned to appoint referees through a public draw and open the VAR room to inspection.
Broadcasting and Infrastructure Developments
In the project, which envisages opening the broadcasting organization to audit, critical headings such as bringing stadiums up to civilized standards and renewing the pool distribution take place. It is aimed to improve the infrastructure and economic conditions of Turkish football.
League Structure and Term of Office
It is aimed to review the league calendar, increase match squads to 23 people, and remove the foreign player limit to transition to a visa application. Meleke commits to leaving office at the end of four years after all these projects are implemented.
