After receiving a blow to the back of his right knee during training, MRI scans revealed damage and bleeding in Wilfried Singo's right thigh region.
Injury Suffered in Training
Suffering an unfortunate injury during a Galatasaray training session, 25-year-old footballer Wilfried Singo was unable to take part in the match squad against Başakşehir.
Hospital Checks and Diagnosis
Official information regarding the player's health status was provided following advanced examinations performed at the sponsor hospital.
In a statement made by Head of the Medical Committee Dr. Yener İnce, it was reported that damage and bleeding involving the tendon and muscle group in the player's right thigh biceps femoris muscle group were detected.
Out of the Sporting Lisbon Match
With his treatment process having started immediately, it has become clear that Wilfried Singo will not be able to play in Galatasaray's Champions League match against Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday, September 9.
