Wrestling coach found dead at sports complex in Bursa to be laid to rest
In an incident at the Bursa TOHM Athlete Camp and Training Center, 55-year-old wrestling coach Zeki Gümüş was found motionless in his room.
Zeki Gümüş, a 55-year-old coach who has served the sport of wrestling in Bursa for many years, was found dead in his room at the sports complex where he worked. Health teams dispatched to the scene upon the notification of his students determined that Gümüş had lost his life.
The Emergence of the Incident
Students of 55-year-old wrestling coach Zeki Gümüş, who worked at the Bursa TOHM Athlete Camp and Training Center and the Atıcılar Sports Complex located in the Atıcılar neighborhood of Bursa's Osmangazi district, grew suspicious when they could not reach him.
Intervention by Health and Police Teams
Upon the students entering the room and finding the coach motionless, the situation was immediately reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Checks performed by the health teams directed to the scene upon the notification determined that Gümüş had passed away.
Forensic Medicine and Investigation Process
Following the completion of examinations at the scene, the body of Zeki Gümüş was transferred to the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institution morgue. Police teams' investigations and inquiries regarding the incident are continuing from multiple angles.

The passing of Zeki Gümüş, who dedicated years to Turkish wrestling and trained numerous talented athletes including national athlete Zeki Akgül, caused great mourning in the sports community and among his close circle.
