Yalova Municipality Summer Sports Schools Completed and Certificate Ceremony Held
An enthusiastic certificate ceremony was held at the stadium for children and young people who received training in 8 different branches throughout the summer period in Yalova.
482 athletes who successfully completed their training at the Summer Sports Schools organized by Yalova Municipality were presented with their certificates at a ceremony held at the Yalova Atatürk Stadium.
Summer Period Trainings Completed
Yalova Municipality Summer Sports Schools successfully completed their two-month training period which started on July 1, 2026, and ended on August 31, 2026.
Aimed at helping children spend their summer holidays with sporting activities, the program allowed them to get acquainted with different branches.
Ceremony Held at the Stadium
Following the end of the training period, an official certificate ceremony was organized for the athletes at the Yalova Atatürk Stadium.
Participation and achievement certificates were presented to a total of 482 athletes who received training in eight different branches during the ceremony.
Next Year's Goals Announced
Coming together with the athletes at the ceremony, Yalova Mayor Mehmet Gürel emphasized the importance of bringing children and young people together with sports.
Mayor Gürel stated that they aim for a total of at least 1,000 athletes to benefit from the Summer Sports Schools in all branches next year.
Sporting Activities Will Continue
Yalova Municipality announced that efforts to increase the participation of children and young people in sporting activities will continue with determination.
Thanks to the trainings conducted with a strong coaching staff, it is aimed to further strengthen the sports culture throughout Yalova.
