Statements on Hatay and Criticism of the Opposition from AK Party's Yayman

Meeting and Evaluation of the Opposition
AK Party Deputy Chairman Hüseyin Yayman attended the Enlarged Provincial Advisory Council Meeting organized at the AK Party Hatay Provincial Presidency. In his speech during the meeting, Yayman stated that the issue of the opposition is no longer a political matter and has evolved into a national security issue.
Arguing that the opposition is in a crisis, Yayman stated that they searched for the opposition from Hatay and expressed that they want an opposition approach that defends Turkey's interests against the outside world.
Maritime Accident Off the Coast of Kyrenia
In his speech, Yayman wished God's mercy upon the citizens who lost their lives in the passenger ship that capsized off the coast of Kyrenia, referencing statements made by the authorities of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Yayman stated that those responsible for the accident will be held accountable before justice.
Emphasis on the Great Turkey Alliance
Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the AK Party, Yayman stated that only the AK Party, MHP, and the People's Alliance are present in the field. Conveying that they are talking about the great Turkey consensus and alliance, Yayman noted that they will work until they make Turkey a global power under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Hatay Earthquake Works and New Constitution
Touching upon the construction activities carried out in Hatay following the February 6, 2023 earthquakes, Yayman thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the ministers. Emphasizing that Turkey is in need of a new constitution, Yayman added that they will continue to work to change the coup constitution.
