A 12-terabyte Steam2 server archive containing a decade of Steam data between 2003 and 2013 has been leaked and started distributing via BitTorrent.

A 12-terabyte Steam2 server archive containing information from Steam's 2003 to 2013 period has been leaked. It has been reported that the archive has started being distributed across the internet via BitTorrent.

Early Versions and Prototypes

Stated to be the most complete copy of the Steam2 servers, this archive includes not only final releases but also early versions, prototypes, and internal test builds from Valve and third-party publishers.

Portal 2 Materials and F-Stop

The vast majority of the found materials belong to Portal 2. These include playable early versions featuring cut dialogue, circular portals, and a time-slowdown gun. Works from the canceled game F-Stop were also found.

Half-Life 2: Episode Three Files

The Portal 2 files revealed a weapon model featured in a previously released documentary by Valve for the canceled Half-Life 2: Episode Three. Although researchers found files marked with ep3, no playable version was discovered.
