A University Student's Journey of Success and Transformation

Bui Huy Hoang, a student in the Global Information Technology program at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, is drawing attention with his development in academic and social areas during his first year.

Adapting to a New Educational Environment

Having grown up specializing in mathematics at Nguyen Hue High School for the Gifted, Bui Huy Hoang began his first year at Hanoi University of Science and Technology with a basic level of knowledge in computer science. Over the span of a year, he made significant progress in his field by developing his programming and algorithmic thinking skills through modules such as Introduction to C and Data Structures.

Military Training and Leadership Experience

The Military Training Course he attended at Dormitory B7 after the Lunar New Year became one of the turning points for Hoang in terms of social and personal development. Taking on the role of Squad Leader in this process involving over five hundred students, he gained valuable experience in teamwork and taking responsibility for the group.

Club Activities and Social Activities

Believing that university life is not just about studying, Hoang took an active role in the Youth Union, student associations, and various club activities. Working as a bilingual MC in the EMCEE Club and serving in the Arts and Sports Committee to gain stage experience, he significantly enhanced his communication skills and self-confidence.

International Representation and Exchange Program

One of the most important milestones in Hoang's first year was being selected for the 12th ASEAN-China Young Leaders Exchange Program. Representing Vietnamese youth in this organization attended by over a hundred international delegates, he successfully promoted his country by delivering a presentation focused on international cooperation and education.
