A delegation from the Thai Nguyen Provincial Department of Science and Technology conducted on-site inspections of agricultural science and technology projects implemented in the communes of Dong Phuc and Quang Thuan to evaluate the progress of the work.

Scope of the Inspection Visit

A delegation led by Hoang Van Thien, Director of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Department of Science and Technology, inspected three different projects contributing to the development of the agricultural sector in the region.

During the visits, the on-the-ground status of projects related to custard apple production, the preservation of ancient tea trees, and tourism-oriented agricultural models was addressed.

Custard Apple Project

Within the framework of the project implemented by the Horticultural Research Institute in Quang Thuan commune, suitable areas were identified and pilot plantings were carried out.

The inspections determined that the trees are growing healthily and producers are fully complying with technical guidelines.

Conservation of Shan Tuyet Tea Trees

In Dong Phuc commune, efforts to preserve and develop ancient Shan Tuyet tea plantations alongside ecotourism were discussed.

While tea trees were tagged with QR codes to update their identity, age, and location information, important production targets were established within the scope of the project.

Agricultural Tourism and Future Goals

The persimmon and plum orchards established in Na Chom village, as well as the cooperative's investments in processing and tourism facilities, were inspected on-site.

Following the inspections, the authorized agency requested that the projects adhere to their objectives to increase the economic value of agricultural products.
