Agricultural Scientists and Innovative Farmers Honored in Hanoi

At a ceremony held in the capital city of Hanoi, 42 scientists who added value to the agricultural sector were certified, and 24 producers who stood out in the technical innovation competition received their awards.

Within the framework of the 7th "Scientist for Farmers" Award Ceremony and the 11th "Technical Innovation for Farmers" Competition held in Hanoi, 42 scientists contributing to agricultural development were honored, and 24 farmers who ranked in the competition received their awards.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung attended the 7th "Scientist for Farmers" Award Ceremony and the award presentation program of the 11th "Technical Innovation for Farmers" Competition 2026, held in Hanoi on the morning of October 2.

Many high-ranking officials, ministry representatives, experts, and scientists, along with Luong Quoc Doan, Chairman of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, were present at the event.

Main Aims and Objectives of the Program

This organization aims to encourage and honor the contributions of scientists, intellectuals, and innovative producers operating in agriculture and rural areas.

At the same time, it targets the concretization of the Politburo's Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024.

Opening Speech and Strategic Emphases

Delivering the opening speech, Bui Thi Thom, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Farmers' Union and Head of the Organizing Committee, emphasized that the Party and the State place agriculture and rural areas in a strategic position in the country's development.

Awarded Scientists and Farmers

The Organizing Committee presented certificates to 42 scientists, intellectuals, and innovative farmers who demonstrated outstanding achievements in the field of agricultural development.

Standout Names in the Innovation Competition

Awards were presented to 24 farmers who won the 11th National Farmers Technical Innovation Competition; the first-place prizes were awarded to Nguyen Manh Hung, Vu Van Nghien, and Le Van Hop.
