Applications for Strategic Technology Program Have Begun
Under the program launched by YÖK, 550 researchers will be trained in the fields of IT, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and hardware in the first year.
With the Strategic Technology Human Resources Program initiated by the Council of Higher Education, it is aimed to train 550 young researchers in critical fields in the first year, and applications have started to be accepted.
Aim and Objectives of the Program
At the end of five years, it is targeted to bring approximately 3,000 researchers into Turkey's science and technology ecosystem.
It is aimed to support the transformation of knowledge produced in universities into technology, products, patents, and economic value.
Education and Employment Process
Young people will be employed as research assistants while continuing their doctoral studies at Turkey's esteemed research universities.
Application Requirements and Scope
The program is not limited to computer and software fields; it is also open to graduates from different disciplines such as medicine, law, and engineering.
Application Dates and Exam Schedule
Applications will be made via YÖK's system between September 8 and September 22, 2026, and candidates are granted a total of 5 preference rights.
The central written exam will be conducted by ÖSYM on November 28, 2026.
