Artificial intelligence team starts work on risk and opportunity report

Director of National Intelligence Jay Clayton was appointed as the Trump administration's AI Czar and accelerated his work.

The special team, known as the Superintelligence Force, will submit a report within 120 days to evaluate the risks and opportunities presented by artificial intelligence.
Legislation and Industry Relations
The team will address mechanisms through dialogue just like in other sectors, as well as current laws and steps Congress can take.
Threat Response Plans
While response plans against threats originating from superintelligence are being developed, it was stated that excessive regulations that would hinder innovation will be avoided.
