Rene Haas, chief executive of UK-based technology giant Arm Holdings, stated that artificial intelligence will defeat cancer in the future by finding treatments that human lifespans would not otherwise suffice to discover. However, Haas emphasized that this rapid growth is being hindered by difficulties in the supply of chips required for data centers.

Arm Holdings CEO Rene Haas stated that artificial intelligence will achieve a success previously unreachable within a human lifespan and find a cure for cancer. Noting that cell and DNA marker modeling is currently very complex, Haas said that advancing computer systems will overcome this problem.

The technology executive stated that despite the massive potential offered by artificial intelligence, the sector is facing a severe supply constraint. It was stated that the inadequacy in the supply of chips required for the construction of data centers is slowing down the widespread adoption process of artificial intelligence technologies.

Humanoid Robots and the Workforce

Stating that self-learning humanoid robots will become widespread in areas such as manufacturing, cleaning, and repair in the next decade, Haas argued that concerns created by automation are exaggerated. It was noted that mechanization will create new opportunities rather than job losses.

Despite the government's efforts to localize the supply chain, Haas stated that establishing chip manufacturing plants in the UK is neither necessary nor realistic, reminding that these facilities are extremely expensive and require a vast ecosystem.
