Among the notable figures taking part in this process are recognized experts in the field such as Jason Goldman, Gillian Hadfield, Alondra Nelson, and Rob Reich.
Independent Auditing and Safety Frameworks
As part of the ongoing efforts, it is proposed to place independent third parties inside frontier artificial intelligence companies to verify and evaluate their safety frameworks.
Emergency Shutdown System Efforts
Among the proposals on the agenda is also the mandate to develop an emergency shutdown mechanism, or kill switch, for frontier artificial intelligence models that could potentially go out of control.
