Performance Evaluation Criteria

Do Thanh Binh, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee, stated that the results of implementing Resolution No. 57 will serve as the basis for evaluating task completion levels in the last six months of 2026.

Legal Framework and Digital Sectors

Dinh Thi Linh Huong, Deputy Director of the Information Technology Industry Department, emphasized that the digital technology and artificial intelligence sectors are key drivers in restructuring the economy, and the Digital Technology Industry Law, effective from January 1, 2026, will establish a legal framework.

2030 Business Targets

Nguyen Huu Thanh Binh, Deputy Director of the Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology, stated that the city is shifting its focus from technology applications to the development of technology-related businesses, products, and markets, aiming to establish about 100 digital technology businesses by 2030.

Innovation Park Model

Lam Nguyen Hai Long from the Technology Incubation and Innovation Support Center noted that establishing a science, technology, and innovation park model unique to the Western region is a key solution for Can Tho to make a breakthrough.
