The delegation, led by Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Chairman of the Science, Technology and Environment Committee, visited Thuy Loi University and met with the university leadership.
Academic Capacity of the University
Professor Nguyen Trung Viet, President of Thuy Loi University, briefed the delegation on the university's education and research capabilities in the fields of water resources, environment, and disaster prevention.
It was stated that the university has a total of 1,213 staff members, including 17 professors, 99 associate professors, and 421 PhD holders, and has a capacity of over 25,000 students.
Strengthening Expert Participation
Committee Chairman Nguyen Thanh Hai congratulated the university on its 68th anniversary and expressed his appreciation for the institution's professional capacity.
The parties reached a consensus on increasing the participation of experts in policy-making activities in the fields of water resources, dam safety, and disaster control.

During the meeting, it was decided to organize scientific forums, share research results, and encourage the participation of university experts in policy advisory processes.
