According to current data released by the Ministry of Science and Technology, 221 of the 968 science and technology enterprises operating across Vietnam are located in the capital, Hanoi. This ratio demonstrates that Hanoi maintains its position as the hub of the country's technology ecosystem.
Hanoi's Share in the Technology Ecosystem
As of the end of August 2026, a total of 968 science and technology-focused enterprises are operating across Vietnam. Hosting 221 of these businesses, Hanoi has become the center of the technology sector, accounting for approximately 23% of the total national capacity.
HanoTEX and Digital Transformation Efforts
The Hanoi Technology Exchange (HanoTEX) plays an active role in technology transfer and digital transformation processes. As of August 20, 2026, the platform features 242 registered accounts, 227 participating enterprises, and 44 different solution proposals.
The platform has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) with more than 30 enterprises to strengthen the technology ecosystem. These collaborations aim to contribute to the digitalization processes of local technology companies.
