DNA Tests for the Identification of Martyr Remains Proceed Rapidly

As part of the 500-Day Campaign carried out in Vietnam, identification efforts for martyr remains are continuing intensively, with approximately 38,000 samples collected.

Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra visited the DNA Testing Center of the Institute of Biology to inspect the ongoing efforts for the identification of martyr remains.

Visit and Inspection Process

High-ranking party and government officials attended the inspection visit held in Hanoi. The activities carried out were discussed in detail during the working meeting.

Pham Thi Thanh Tra, Chairperson of the National Steering Committee, observed the center's work firsthand and received briefings from officials.

Modern Technologies and Number of Samples

The DNA Testing Center continues its work by rapidly incorporating new and modern technologies from around the world, having collected approximately 38,000 samples to date.

The center's test results were reported to the relevant national committee and the sponsoring organization, VinGroup.

Standards and Interagency Cooperation

Technical procedures within the center are being standardized according to international standards, and biosafety is meticulously observed.

Joint efforts are being carried out with units of the Ministry of Public Security to compare DNA data of the martyrs' relatives.
