Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır announced that the domestic lunar spacecraft, whose production, assembly, and integration have been completed, has been sent to TUSAŞ for environmental testing, and it is planned to be launched into space in the early months of 2027.

Produced with a High Domestic Production Rate

It was announced that the domestic lunar spacecraft, weighing approximately 3.5 tons, was produced with a domestic production rate of over 80 percent.

To Be Sent into Space in 2027

The spacecraft, developed within the framework of Turkey's first lunar mission, is targeted to be launched in the early months of 2027.

Will Conduct Operations in Mission Orbit

It is anticipated that after a journey of approximately 2 months, the spacecraft will reach an orbit at an altitude of 100 kilometers from the lunar surface and operate there for at least 3 months.
