With the cooperation of Sivas Science and Technology University, Atatürk University, Erzurum Technical University, and Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University, a domestic and national rumen sensor bolus has been developed that can monitor the health status of cattle in real time.

Joint Work of Universities

Sivas Science and Technology University, Atatürk University, Erzurum Technical University, and Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University joined forces.

As a result of this cooperation, a domestic and national rumen sensor bolus capable of monitoring the health status of cattle in real time was successfully developed.

Working Mechanism of the Sensor

Designed in a capsule shape, this special sensor was engineered to be placed in the animal's stomach region to perform its function directly.

Thus, key health indicators such as the animal's body temperature, pH level, mobility, and rumination can be tracked instantly.

Targeted Benefits of the System

With this newly developed system, it is targeted to identify potential diseases at a much earlier stage.

Additionally, thanks to this technology, it is aimed to reduce animal losses and lower overall production costs.
