Erzincan Science Festival-3 Opened Its Doors at Clock Tower Square
The TÜBİTAK-supported Erzincan Science Festival-3 has started welcoming visitors with numerous workshops and events focusing on artificial intelligence and technology.
Realized within the framework of the TÜBİTAK 4007 Science Festivals Support Program, Discover Science with All Its Colors: Erzincan Science Festival-3 met with science enthusiasts at a ceremony held at Clock Tower Square.
Opening Ceremony of the Festival Took Place
The opening of the festival, carried out under the leadership of the Erzincan Provincial Directorate of National Education and coordinated by the Erzincan Science and Art Center, took place on Thursday, October 8, 2026.
Protocol members, institutional managers, teachers, and numerous students participated in the opening program held at Clock Tower Square.
Organized with Inter-Institutional Cooperation
Aimed at bringing science and technology together with different segments of society, the event is conducted in partnership with Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University, the municipality, and other institutions.
The project aims for participants to actively participate in scientific processes and develop a positive attitude towards science.
Workshop and Event Details
Featuring a total of 32 events under three themes, the festival offers numerous workshops in the fields of artificial intelligence and science-technology to the interest of visitors.
Within the scope of the program, various competitions, shows, interactive exhibitions, and interview events are also organized.
Visitor Target and Date Range
Within the scope of the project, it is projected to reach approximately 8,700 science enthusiasts over three days, and the festival will continue to host visitors until October 10, 2026.
