Held over two days at Eskişehir Technical University, EsTekFest transformed the campus into a space of science, technology, and experience by bringing together high school and university students, academics, and industry representatives.
Scope of the Festival
Bringing together various stakeholders over two days, the festival transformed the university campus into a comprehensive science, technology, and experience area.
Organized with the approach of the Technologies of the Future, Science and Youth Festival, projects were exhibited and panels were held during the event.
Participation of High School Students
High school student participation constituted one of the key components of EsTekFest, with young people exhibiting their prepared projects at stands.
The students gained the opportunity to present their projects in a university environment, meet peers from different schools, and communicate with academic units.
Experience of Research Infrastructure
Through 15 routes and 47 stations established on campus, visitors directly experienced the education and research infrastructure of the university.
Visitors toured laboratories and workshops in many different categories such as machinery, informatics, chemistry, environment, and architecture.
Expert Industry Meetings
Young people listened to and observed firsthand studies in many fields such as artificial intelligence, aviation, sustainability, and materials science from experts.
Student project teams operating within the university also introduced the projects they developed to visitors.
