Fambot Develops AI Chief of Staff for Families
Fambot has raised $3.5 million in pre-seed funding for its artificial intelligence-based chief of staff that coordinates families' daily tasks and children's activities.
While AI agents that simplify daily tasks are becoming widespread in Silicon Valley, the Fambot startup has introduced a new artificial intelligence assistant focused on the busy lifestyle of families. The system was developed to alleviate the workload of parents.
The Startup's Founding Team
The Fambot startup was founded by former Instagram engineer and CTO Greg Karlin, along with former UnitedMasters president and Uber product manager CEO David Reich.
The duo was later joined by a third partner, Jason Morrow, who has a background at Google and LinkedIn, completing the team's structure.
How the System Works
Families who want to use the Fambot application connect their email accounts, calendars, and WhatsApp groups that need to be tracked to the system.
Following these integrations, the bot offers users a daily to-do list and shares insights about upcoming events on the calendar.
Multi-Platform Support
Unlike other AI agents that rely solely on text messaging, Fambot also provides services through web browsers and traditional mobile application interfaces.
The startup is currently meeting users for free in the beta testing phase on iOS, Android, and web platforms, and plans to introduce pricing in the future.
Investment and Financing Details
The startup, which develops a next-generation family assistant, secured $3.5 million in pre-seed funding co-led by NextView Ventures and Baukunst.
Investors such as Correlation Ventures, Karman Ventures, and Founders Network also participated in this investment round.
