Gaziantep University in the TEKNOFEST Finals with 16 Teams
University students achieved success by advancing to the finals in various categories with their technology and innovation-focused projects.
As a result of their science, technology, and innovation-focused work, Gaziantep University students achieved a major success at TEKNOFEST Southeast 2026, earning the right to advance to the finals with 16 teams across different categories.
Competition Process and Success
Successfully passing the evaluation stages, the 16 teams earned the right to represent Gaziantep University in various competition categories.
Categories Featured in the Finals
Among the GAÜN teams that advanced to the finals are robotaxi, underwater rocket, combat unmanned aerial vehicle, and FPV drone tracking competitions.
Additionally, projects will be exhibited in the international electric vehicle, fixed-wing and free-task unmanned aerial vehicles, and model satellite categories.
Air defense systems and the VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) competition are among the other fields featured in the finals.
Engineering Fields and Support
The developed projects cover a wide range including autonomous driving, electric transportation, unmanned aerial vehicles, and underwater rockets.
Throughout the process carried out under the leadership of the Gaziantep University TEKNOFEST Coordination Office, technical infrastructure and consultancy support were provided to the teams.
