Google Invests $15 Billion in AI Infrastructure in Finland
The tech giant will allocate a large budget in the coming years to strengthen its artificial intelligence infrastructure in Finland.
Google has decided to invest at least 13 billion euros, approximately 15 billion dollars, between 2027 and 2028 to develop and expand its artificial intelligence infrastructure in Finland.
Scope of the Investment and Planned Timeline
This massive investment plan to be implemented by Google has been designed to cover the upcoming two-year period.
The project is targeted to be carried out simultaneously across four different locations between 2027 and 2028.
Data Centers and Supporting Infrastructure
In line with the planned expenditures, the construction of new data centers in the region will be accelerated.
Additionally, supporting infrastructure works to ensure these centers operate without interruption have been included in the project.
Clean Energy and Community Funds
The investment plan is not limited to technological infrastructure alone, but also includes support for clean energy projects.
In addition, special funds are planned to be established for local communities and environmental protection efforts.
