Government Office Discusses Digital Transformation and Management Efficiency

At the high-level committee meeting held at the Government Office headquarters, digital transformation activities carried out since the beginning of 2026, the challenges faced, and the steps to be taken in the upcoming period were comprehensively evaluated.

Date of the Meeting and Participants

The meeting convened under the chairmanship of Minister and Head of the Government Office Dang Xuan Phong, who serves as the Chairman of the Government Office Steering Committee for Science and Technology Development, Innovation, Digital Transformation, and Project 06.

The session was attended by Deputy Directors of the Government Office Pham Manh Cuong, Mai Thi Thu Van, Tran Anh Tien, as well as representatives of the Steering Committee members.

2026 Digital Transformation Activities and Reports

Nguyen Quang Tung, Director of the Government Office Department of Digital Transformation, reported that tasks have been actively implemented since the beginning of the year and the committee has been restructured.

During the meeting, Nguyen Hong Sam, Director of the Government Information and Communications Department, and other officials also evaluated the ongoing work.

Responsibility and New Decisions in the Management Process

Minister Dang Xuan Phong requested department directors and all units to strengthen their responsibilities and take ownership of the digital transformation process.

It was decided to include digital transformation content in weekly meetings for evaluation starting next week.

Infrastructure, Fragmented Structure, and Cybersecurity Measures

The goal is to overcome the fragmented state observed in information technology systems and strengthen the infrastructure.

Decisions were made to establish a single point of responsibility for cybersecurity and to improve human resources.
