Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for New Technology-Focused Education Complex in Dien Bien

The groundbreaking ceremony for the FPT Education Complex took place in Dien Bien province, aiming to offer an integrated education model from high school to university and cultivate technology-focused human resources.

Scope and Main Focus Areas of the Project

Initiated in Dien Bien Phu ward, the FPT Dien Bien Education Complex Project offers a multi-level model adopting information technology, STEM, robotics, and artificial intelligence as its core focus areas.

With its integrated structure spanning from primary education to vocational and university education, the project aims to equip the region's digital transformation process with qualified human resources.

Evaluations by Management and Stakeholders

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Le Van Luong, Chairman of the Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee, stated that the project is a concrete step toward the policy of cultivating high-quality labor forces.

FPT CEO Nguyen Van Khoa stated that the company will implement a model combining technology and integration capabilities there, planning to enroll its first students in September 2027.

Investment Details and Capacity Information

Approved by the Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee, the total investment amount of the project was determined to be approximately 650 billion VND, and construction is being carried out on an area of about 10.57 hectares.

When completed, the complex will have the capacity to host more than 6,000 students annually and is expected to create employment opportunities for about 500 people.

Construction Phases and Scholarship Plans

Planned to be implemented in three phases over a total period of eight years, the investment's first cohort of students will begin classes for the 2027-2028 academic year.

Additionally, the FPT Group plans to develop a special scholarship policy for students from ethnic minorities and disadvantaged backgrounds.
