Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Held for Local Officials in Lam Dong Province

The Lam Dong Department of Science and Technology organized a training program to enhance innovation and creative entrepreneurship capacity for more than 200 civil servants and municipal employees in the eastern part of the province.

Purpose of the Training Program

The Lam Dong Department of Science and Technology organized a training course aimed at developing the capacity for innovation and creative entrepreneurship for more than 200 officials, civil servants, and commune-level workers in the eastern part of the province. The program began on the morning of September 9 in Phan Thiet ward.

Expert Participation and Topics

Throughout the training course, participants received instruction from experts on an overview of science, technology, innovation, and creative entrepreneurship, as well as the policies and guidelines of the Party, the State, and the provincial administration. Dr. Pham Thi Hong Phuong, Senior Advisor at the Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Technology Transfer Center of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City, guided a practical session on data analysis.

Practical Applications and Data Analysis

Trainees received practical guidance on data analysis, identifying local problems, needs, and development potential. They were guided on identifying resources, potential, advantages, and bottlenecks, as well as evaluating the current state of the innovation system based on local data and information.

Expert Insights and Scope

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Vinh Minh Thanh, Founding Chairman of the Vietnam Brand Development Research Institute, shared insights regarding the role of local governments in developing the innovation system and creative startup ecosystem. These efforts are applied to daily work in planning scientific, technological, and innovation projects at the local level.
