Politburo member and Acting Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc drew attention to the traditional friendly relations between Vietnam and the Federal Republic of Germany. The meeting emphasized the goals of developing economic, trade, and technological cooperation between the two countries.

SAP's Investments in Vietnam

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction with SAP Group's operations in the Vietnamese market. The company's commitment to establishing a Research and Development Center in Ho Chi Minh City was welcomed positively.

Human Resources and Education

During the meeting, it was requested that SAP scale up its laboratories in Vietnam. Additionally, it was requested to foster high-quality human resources through technology transfer and cooperation with universities.

Globally Serving Center

Dr. Clas Neumann stated that SAP is determined to expand its investments in the country. He noted that 250 qualified R&D personnel are employed at the center in Ho Chi Minh City and that the products developed there serve global customers.
