Developed by Meta and set for release in the spring of 2027, the new VR headset stands out with its lightweight 100-gram design. The device is stated to meet many different needs, ranging from cinema experiences and courtside match viewing to expansive workspaces and game console usage.

It was announced that the glasses feature a resolution of 37 pixels per degree and house a 5K Infinite Display screen built on a micro-OLED panel. Thanks to this hardware, it is stated that users will be able to both watch extremely clear images and read texts much more comfortably.

Hologram Feature and Communication Experience

It was announced that hologram technology, featuring real-time expressions and reactions during video calls, will be used alongside the new glasses. The company promises that this will allow users to feel as if the person across from them is right in front of them.

Information was shared that the developed hologram feature will work in full compatibility with many popular applications on the market, from WhatsApp to Zoom.

Capabilities of the Muse AI Agent

Among the innovations introduced by the company is a next-generation AI agent named 'Muse'. It is stated that Muse can be actively used in daily tasks such as file management, messaging, and calendar organization.

Furthermore, it was stated that the system can run applications on Apple Mac computers on behalf of the user and continue performing tasks in the background even when not at the computer.

Shopping Integration and Future Goals

Shopping support through major brands such as Walmart, GameStop, Gap, and Wayfair has been added to services working with Muse. Users can request the artificial intelligence to browse and shop in these stores on their behalf.

Meta's Chief AI Officer, Alexandr Wang, emphasized that the system will provide great convenience in running small businesses or taking over routine tasks. According to Sensor Tower data, Muse has already been downloaded more than 2.5 million times, and Zuckerberg expects billions of people to use this technology in the coming years.
