Technology giant Microsoft announced the creation of a new framework aimed at enhancing children's safety in the use of artificial intelligence.

Built on Three Main Pillars
In the statement made by Microsoft, it was emphasized that children should not have to choose between safety measures and the opportunities offered by technology.
It was reported that the framework in question is built upon three main pillars: safety by design, age-differentiated experiences, and education.
New Measures for Copilot and Bing
Within the scope of the new framework, a login requirement has been implemented for the use of the company's artificial intelligence assistant, Copilot.
It was stated that access to the platform has been restricted for children under 13, and filtering against harmful content has been strengthened on the search engine Bing.
Windows Age API and Global Collaborations
A new application programming interface called the Windows Age API, which offers developers a more reliable age verification capability, has been made available.
Stating that technology alone cannot ensure digital safety, it was expressed that global collaborations with artificial intelligence safety institutes and governments will be deepened.
