The Ministry of Industry and Trade has decisively implemented the Politburo's Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, recording significant progress in science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation. Efficiency in public services has been enhanced through institutional reforms and digital infrastructure efforts.

Shift in Management Mindset

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has implemented Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW simultaneously and in a focused manner, creating significant drivers for industrial development. The most prominent change has been the transition from a management mindset to a creative and service-oriented approach.

Simplification of Administrative Procedures

Remarkable results have been achieved in institutional and administrative procedure reform. The Ministry approved plans to reduce 55.34% of administrative procedures, saving approximately VND 491.3 billion in compliance costs and achieving a 95.5% success rate in decentralization.

Digital Transformation and Public Services

While the centralized administrative procedure processing information system became operational on January 1, 2026, approximately 99% of applications are submitted online. 265 online public services have been integrated into the National Public Service Portal.

Future Priorities

In the final six months of 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will continue to prioritize science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation. The focus will be on institutional improvement and the development of strategic technologies.
