During the meeting held on the morning of September 30, chaired by Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Tran Trung Tinh, developments in scientific research and digital transformation were shared.
Increase in Digital Sector Revenues
It was reported that the digital technology sector maintained its strong growth, generating 770.766 trillion VND in revenue in September 2026, representing a 36% increase compared to the previous year.
Publication and Platform Statistics
While Vietnam recorded 3,131 international publications in the Scopus database, the total number of transactions made via the National Data Integration and Sharing Platform reached 4.86 billion.
Legal Regulations and New Decrees
The ministry issued two decisions and three circulars in September; semiconductor industry indicators and the strategic research laboratory plan were implemented.
Preparations for National Innovation Day
It was announced that the 2026 National Innovation Day and the Vietnam InnoShow 2026 exhibition will be held on October 4 at the National Convention Center under the theme "Innovation - The driving force for the development of the entire society."
