Isaacman stated that this step could win both the space race and the artificial intelligence race. Describing the idea as a fantastic solution during a podcast he attended, Isaacman noted that SpaceX CEO Elon Musk shares a similar view.
Energy and Environmental Debates
Data centers, which are rapidly increasing in number with the growth of the artificial intelligence sector, are criticized for driving up electricity prices and harming the environment. Calls are being made in some states to halt the establishment of these facilities.
On the other hand, US Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin argues that such restrictive steps could negatively impact the country's artificial intelligence competition with China.
