The National Technology Innovation Fund (NATIF) and commercial banks held a joint seminar in Hanoi to accelerate enterprises' access to the capital needed for technological innovations and to remove barriers in interest subsidies.

Joint Seminar Held in Hanoi

At the hybrid seminar organized by the National Technology Innovation Fund in Hanoi, the financing needs and solution searches of enterprises in their technological innovation processes were discussed.

Fund representatives and numerous commercial bank officials attended the event to evaluate existing financial support mechanisms and the difficulties encountered.

Bottlenecks in Financing Processes

During the meeting, mismatches between investment progress and enterprises' capital needs, as well as deficiencies in documentation processes, were discussed as the main bottlenecks.

The parties discussed in detail the steps to be taken to encourage the acceptance of loan interest rate subsidy requests and to minimize bureaucratic obstacles.

New Steps by NATIF and Banks

NATIF Director Bui Quang Minh requested banks to support enterprises regarding information access and procedures, while announcing that the Fund will assign dedicated personnel to work continuously at the banks.

Representatives of VPBank and BIDV, on the other hand, made proposals to develop a set of sample application forms and step-by-step instructions to accelerate the processes.

Preparations Before the Second Announcement

This joint work and experience sharing are of great importance in preparation for the second announcement expected to be released in early October 2026.

Officials stated that these steps taken will strengthen the access of technology-focused projects to financing.
