The meeting led by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Ankara, bringing together the economic management and the heads of regulatory and supervisory institutions, has been completed.
During this critical summit, which lasted about three hours, the fund investigation and developments in the markets were comprehensively addressed and evaluated.
High-Level Attendees at the Meeting
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek attended the summit held in Ankara.
Additionally, the heads of Borsa İstanbul, the Capital Markets Board, and the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency were present at the meeting.
Latest Status and Arrests in the Investigation
As part of the ongoing fund investigation, some of the detained suspects were referred to the courthouse and appeared before a judge.
Following the latest proceedings, the total number of individuals arrested within the scope of the investigation has risen to 56.
MASAK and Financial Data Requests
In line with the written request sent by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to MASAK, the acquisition of financial data regarding the executives of the relevant companies was requested.
In this context, Pusula Finans Holding AŞ, Tera Yatırım Menkul Değerler AŞ, Hedef Holding AŞ, and Bulls Yatırım Menkul Değerler AŞ were included in the process.
