National Science, Technology and Innovation Information System Officially Launched
The new joint platform, established to digitalize state management and research activities, has been launched with VNeID integration and comprehensive indicators.
The Ministry of Science and Technology officially launched the National Science, Technology, and Innovation Information System on September 11, 2026, designed to support research and innovation activities.
Purpose and Access of the System
Implemented by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Science, Technology, and Innovation Information System serves state management and scientific research. Access to the platform, established under the Prime Minister's Decision No. 1132/QD-TTg dated June 24, 2026, is provided via its designated web address.
Integration and Data Infrastructure
Integrated with the National Data Center, the digital platform supports single sign-on via VNeID. It also offers an architecture ready to establish a real-time data connection with the National Population Database.
Statistical Indicator Capacity
The platform houses 137 statistical indicators specifically prepared for the science and technology sector. The system also includes 17 national statistical indicators that guide policymaking processes.
Expert Evaluations and Objectives
Speaking at the launch meeting, officials stated that the project focuses on data quality beyond modern software features. The system aims to shorten the gap between research and practical application.
