Nuclear Energy Technologies Design Competition Finals Begin
The finals of the nuclear energy competition, where young engineers develop domestic projects, are being held in Istanbul.
In line with Turkey's domestic and national energy technology initiative, the final excitement of the Nuclear Energy Technologies Design Competition, held within the scope of TEKNOFEST, has begun in Istanbul.
Aim and Scope of the Competition
Bringing young engineers together to develop innovative projects that will shape the future of nuclear technologies, the organization supports domestic solutions in the energy field.
Location and Date of the Finals
Carried out under the leadership of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey and TENMAK, the final stages of the competition are being held between September 1-4, 2026, at the TENMAK Campus in Küçükçekmece, Istanbul.
Application and Finalist Statistics
Organized under the main coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey and the Turkey Technology Team Foundation, a total of 193 teams and 733 contestants applied for the competition, and 42 of them earned the right to participate in the final stage.
Awards and Infrastructure Support
While the team that comes first in the Detailed Design category will be awarded 1 million 250 thousand TL, a special incentive support of 15 million TL will be provided to the university to which their school is affiliated for the establishment of a laboratory and infrastructure.
