Number of students visiting TEKNOFEST in Şanlıurfa exceeds 500 thousand
At the festival ongoing at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport, students visit domestic technology booths, with the goal of reaching 1 million students.
The Aviation, Space and Technology Festival (TEKNOFEST), organized under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the T3 Foundation, continues to welcome visitors at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport, while the number of students meeting with the event has exceeded 500 thousand.
Students' Interest in the Festival
Brought to the festival area by shuttle buses through the organization of the Provincial Directorate of National Education, students visit aviation, space and technology booths and participate in workshop activities.
Examining the domestic and national technology products in the area, students show particular interest in aircraft, rockets, and defense industry products.
Target of 1 Million Visitors
Provincial Director of National Education Hasan Kökrek stated that they have transported around 500 thousand students to the area so far and aim to bring all students in the city together with TEKNOFEST.
Kökrek noted that with the support of the Ministry of National Education, the Governorate, and the T3 Foundation, they want to ensure that 1 million students and parents benefit from the festival.
Students' Impressions
Hasret Nur Kurundu, one of the students, said she was happy to visit TEKNOFEST Southeast and that it was exciting to see national defense vehicles up close.
Muhammed Gümüş stated that he saw this many planes together for the first time in his life and was quite impressed by the festival.
