Project Bringing Science to Village Schools Begins in Burdur
The project, which brings together the library and village schools, enables students to be introduced to technology and applied education.
The Science Bridge project, which brings together libraries and village schools with science, technology, and applied education in Burdur, is taking place on September 24-25.
Aim and Scope of the Project
Carried out by the Burdur Provincial Public Library Directorate, the project connects the library with village schools through scientific studies.
Prepared within the framework of the TÜBİTAK 4009 Support Program for Village Schools, this initiative targets students and the village community.
Applied Workshops and Education
Applied studies in the fields of engineering, health, technology, and science are brought directly to village schools.
It aims to develop students' 21st-century skills such as problem-solving and critical thinking.
Opening and Cooperating Institutions
The official opening program of the project will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Çatağıl Primary School.
The initiative is brought to life with the cooperation of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of National Education, the Governorate of Burdur, and TÜBİTAK.
