Science and agriculture meeting held at village school in Kütahya
A special science, technology, and agriculture-focused event was held with the participation of students at Çayırbaşı Şehit Yaşar Çakır Secondary School in Altıntaş district of Kütahya.
Within the scope of the event organized with TÜBİTAK support at Çayırbaşı Şehit Yaşar Çakır Secondary School in Kütahya's Altıntaş district, students came together in various workshops.
TÜBİTAK Supported Program
A meaningful gathering was held at Çayırbaşı Şehit Yaşar Çakır Secondary School, which is one of the two schools accepted within the framework of the TÜBİTAK 4009 Support Program for Village Schools across Kütahya.
The program, organized under the title of Science, Technology, and Agricultural Knowledge Meeting in the Village from Tradition to Future, aimed to make significant contributions to the development of the school and the students.
Workshops
Throughout the event held in Altıntaş district, students actively participated in various workshops prepared in the fields of science, technology, and agricultural knowledge.
Thus, students had the opportunity to develop their scientific thinking skills while blending traditional knowledge with modern technology methods.
Interinstitutional Cooperation
This special program was jointly implemented through the cooperation of Çayırbaşı Şehit Yaşar Çakır Secondary School and Kütahya Science and Art Center.
With the activities carried out, it was aimed to increase the curiosity of students studying at the village school towards science and technology.
Administrator Participation
Altıntaş District Director of National Education Tuba Sinan also visited the school where the event was held, took part in the program, and closely interacted with the students.
Director Tuba Sinan examined the workshops conducted at the school on-site and received information from officials and teachers.
