Science and Technology Event Implemented for Village School Students in Çorum
In the Alaca district, village school students will participate in various scientific and technological workshops for three days through a TÜBİTAK-supported program.
A three-day science and technology-focused project prepared for village school students in Çorum's Alaca district has been launched.
Start of the Project and the First Day
Led by the teachers of Alaca Special Education Practice School, a special organization was launched at Ceritler Secondary School within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 4009 program.
On the first day, labyrinth team, Makey Makey introduction, and three-dimensional pen design workshops were made available to the students.
Hands-on Workshop Activities
With the labyrinth team activity, it was aimed to develop students' strategic thinking, teamwork, leadership, and crisis management skills.
In the Makey Makey activity, basic circuit principles were explained, enabling students to design digital instruments from conductive materials.
Upcoming Days Program
On the second day of the event, solar-powered mini robot, motorized mini robot, kaleidoscope design, and Hittite clay tablet making workshops will be held.
On the final day of the program, a ceramic dough design workshop, Scratch introduction, and a science talk with the participation of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Büyükata will take place.
