Science, Technology, and Digital Transformation Meeting Held in Can Tho City
The city's board of management evaluated the implementation status of decisions in the field of science and technology and issued instructions for lagging tasks.

Do Thanh Binh, Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee and Head of the Steering Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation, gave important directives at the City Steering Committee meeting held on September 9, 2026.
Completion Status of Tasks
Regarding the implementation of the Politburo's Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024, it was reported that as of September 5, 175 out of 282 tasks across the city have been successfully completed, while the remaining 107 tasks are continuing as planned.
Ongoing Projects and Works
It was announced that a total of 65 city-level projects are currently underway in the fields of natural sciences, engineering, agriculture, medicine, social sciences, and humanities within the city.
Directive from Officials to Remove Bottlenecks
City Party Committee Secretary Do Thanh Binh requested relevant departments and agencies to complete tasks related to digital transformation and address tasks facing the risk of delay.
In addition, it was emphasized that appropriate solutions must be promptly implemented to eliminate bottlenecks in institutional, infrastructural, and human resources areas.
