The first Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Book Award Ceremony, held on October 4, 2026, was brought to life within the framework of the 2026 National Innovation Festival. The event was organized in line with relevant policy decisions and official guidelines.

According to data from the Organizing Committee, a total of 329 applications were submitted in the organization's first year by more than 40 publishers, organizations, and partners. As a result of the jury's evaluation, 9 printed books and 1 e-book were deemed worthy of awards.
Award Distribution and Categories
As a result of the competition, awards were distributed across a total of 10 categories, comprising 1 First Prize, 3 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, and 3 Honorable Mention Encouragement Prizes. The awards were presented to their recipients at an official ceremony.
Winner of the First Prize
The First Prize was awarded to the two-volume "Vietnam Red Data Book" series published by the Natural Sciences and Technology Publishing House. The first volume of the work covers animals, while the second volume addresses plants and fungi.
Second Prizes and Digital Works
The three Second Prizes were awarded to Prof. Dr. Ho Tu Bao's work "Artificial Intelligence and Humanity", Dr. Tran Van Khai's digital literacy book, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Thanh Son's book on the development of productive forces.
Works Receiving Third Prizes
The three Third Prizes were awarded to academic studies addressing emergency outpatient services, the history of the Vietnamese script, and nuclear energy safety.
Encouragement Prizes and Conclusion
The three Encouragement Prizes were distributed among a handbook on antibiotic use in hospitals, urban development planning reform, and translated works in the field of economics.
