Stating that the era of making unilateral demands has come to an end, Ghalibaf expressed that the Strait of Hormuz will not be opened unless Iran's 7 proposed conditions are applied.
The Process with the US
The Iranian delegation, during its visit to the US on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, had conveyed its conditions regarding the opening of the Strait of Hormuz through Qatari mediation. In contrast, US President Donald Trump publicly announced that they did not accept these conditions put forward by Iran.
