Scientific Awareness Project Begins in Village Schools in Gaziantep
A new event has been prepared to bring students studying in disadvantaged village schools in Gaziantep and their families together with advanced technology and science.
A project aimed at increasing the scientific awareness of middle school students and their families studying in disadvantaged regions of Gaziantep has been announced.
Scope and Objectives of the Project
A comprehensive project is being implemented with the aim of increasing the scientific awareness of middle school students studying in disadvantaged village schools in Gaziantep and their families, and introducing them to advanced technology.
Stakeholder Institutions and Supports
This important initiative will be carried out under the academic consultancy of Gaziantep University and with the technical infrastructure of Şahinbey Municipality BİLSEM, guiding the students in the region.
Training Modules and Technological Workshops
Within the scope of the project, there will be a total of 13 different interactive modules such as LEGO EV3 robotic coding, UAV technologies, artificial intelligence-supported music engineering, water rocket aerodynamics, and VR-supported self-regulation.
Science Talks and Event Date
The events, which will also feature a science talk titled "Future of Agriculture: Microbiology, Engineering and Health", will be held in Gaziantep on September 23-24, 2026.
